# Getting the most out of Mothership

If you have followed the Setup and Installation all the difficult setup is complete. Mothership can access your AWS account, can connect to servers, and you have installed the appropriate logging libraries in your code.

Now we need to define what to backup from where. To do that we are going to first setup our environments, then define our backups, and finally define the health checks that we want to perform. Finally, after we have captured a backup we will perform our first sync!
